A playful spin on a traditional practice, kids yoga helps multiple areas of development.

Motor skills – through yoga asana (poses), children practice balance, build strength, increase flexibility, and learn spatial awareness through body movement.

Social skills –  in the group setting, children often partner up for poses, play games involving interacting with peers, and learn about teamwork.

Breathing – each week the children learn about breath and how different breathing can either energize or relax the body.

Creativity – some weeks the children have an opportunity to express themselves through an art activity that ties into the week’s lesson.
