The Project CHILLD Foundation, Inc. was established in the Summer of 2024, to further the impacts of Project CHILLD within the greater community. Project CHILLD was founded in 2001 by two occupational therapy practitioners seeking to bring innovative and holistic approaches to their therapy practice. Now, almost 25 years later, Project CHILLD continues to provide high-quality services to individuals and families across the lifespan offering occupational therapy, speech therapy, neurofeedback, neuropsychological testing, psychiatric medication management and integrated sound therapy.

Over the years, we have worked with thousands of families, many of whom struggle with the financial burden of raising a child with high needs. Children with developmental, intellectual and neurological differences require specialized therapies, adaptive equipment and often one-to-one support to fully participate in their community.

What We Do

The Project CHILLD Foundation seeks to mitigate the financial impact on families by raising funds to provide scholarship money for individuals and families in need. Foundation money can be used by families to participate in important therapies, purchase adaptive equipment and enroll in fulfilling extracurricular activities.

In addition to providing access to high-quality supports and services to families, The Project CHILLD Foundation is equally committed to promoting the professional development of the practitioners who play a critical role in supporting children with intellectual, developmental and neurological differences. As a foundation, we encourage therapists from Project CHILLD and the greater therapeutic community to apply for scholarship money to further strengthen their knowledge and skills as therapy practitioners.

Scholarships for Families
We encourage families to apply for scholarship funds to improve access to necessary therapies, adaptive equipment and extracurricular activities.

Grants for Continuing Education
Great therapy practitioners are created by investing in their continuing education. The foundation seeks to support practitioners pursuing advanced certification or knowledge to enhance their skillset in a specialty area through grant-based awards.
