LORI ANNE ESMILLER MSN, PMHNP-BC
(she/her/hers)
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Lori Anne Esmiller believes that healing begins with understanding the
whole person. As a nationally board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health
Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), she offers trauma-informed and evidence-based
care that emphasizes compassion, collaboration, and overall well being.
Lori earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the
University of Southern Maine, where she also minored in holistic health.
Before entering advanced practice, she spent nearly a decade caring for
patients in substance use treatment, home care, and inpatient settings,
experiences that deepened her understanding of recovery and resilience. She
completed her psychiatric residency with the U.S. Department of Veterans
Affairs and later served as a psychiatric provider at Northern Light Mercy
Hospital, collaborating with Dr. Harry E. Davis Pediatrics and Women’s
Health to provide integrated behavioral-health support.
Away from her clinical work, Lori recharges through time outdoors, travel,
and spending time with family and friends.
