AMELIA CASTELLI BFA, RYT
TASC Program Assistant
(she/her/hers)
Amelia Castelli graduated from Endicott College in 2021 with a BFA in Art Therapy and Photography. Since graduating, Amelia has been working as a therapeutic art practitioner, specifically with neurodivergent adults, including those with autism, Down syndrome and dementia. In 2023, Amelia began her yoga instructor journey, becoming certified through My Vinyasa Practice. In addition to becoming a registered yoga instructor, Amelia has completed her Meditation & Mindfulness certification, as well as her Reiki I & II certifications, which she uses in conjunction with therapeutic art and yoga. She is currently attending UMass Boston, pursuing her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. Amelia will be graduating in 2027 and intends to apply a holistic approach to her work as a licensed mental health counselor.
For the past four years, Amelia has been teaching yoga, boxing, and other group fitness classes at the YMCA of the North Shore, Endicott College, and Sway Yoga + Wellness. She has taught a variety of yoga classes including strong/power vinyasa, mindful vinyasa, restorative, yoga-dance, and inclusive yoga for individuals with differing abilities.
At TASC, Amelia offers individual yoga and art sessions, and leads the inclusive and adaptive yoga and art groups. Through mindful movements and meeting participants where they are at, Amelia creates a welcoming space for people of all abilities to connect with themselves, their bodies, and others.
Amelia is passionate about utilizing holistic modalities with clients to encourage self-awareness, “self-actualization,” and healing. Amelia’s publications include The Layered Landscape of Meditation: A Visual and Mindful Journey of Artful Inner Explorations (2025), which discusses her 2021 thesis of incorporating art-making and mindfulness with nature as modalities for exploring one’s inner world and connecting to the self to promote healing and self-understanding.
Outside of work and school, Amelia enjoys spending time with friends and family, meeting new people, going to concerts, being outside, photography, hiking, adventuring, and baking.
