Testimonial II
Dear Project CHILLD,
This is the second portion of the letter that is long overdue and is written in regard to my son Nicholas. Nicky, as you know, has auditory processing disorder, sensory dysfunction and low self esteem. Prior to beginning the Tomatis program, Nick could not be prompted to do much more than play video games. He was self conscious and doubted himself on a regular basis. He was having great difficulty in school despite testing that showed a high I.Q. Nicholas would become car sick on every ride and had a number of sound sensitivities.
Nicholas responded differently to the program than Meaghan did but we saw changes in him right away as well. Initially, Nick had difficulty sleeping, then began sleeping soundly and waking with more energy. After two sessions, he no longer complained of feeling sick in the car and could ride with the window open while the radio was on.
Once we began the portion of the program where Nick listened to my voice; he seemed angry with me and pulled away more. Comments that he made to me were things I had never heard from him. We had always been very close and I was concerned about what was going on with him. Towards the end of the program, Nick started talking to me on a deeper level and since that time, he was confided in me on everything. He is happier, more confident and has made many new friends.
This summer, Nick took tennis lessons and attended a basketball camp&..two things he would never have tried before&and he stayed with them. He enjoyed himself and has requested taking tennis lessons on an on going basis.
Nick has done amazingly well in school this year. He now gets high B and low A grades vs. the Cs and C-s that he received last year. Nick is happy, enjoys school and finds most of his subjects a bit too easy. He has really grown up a lot and I/we attribute the change to the Tomatis program.
As I said to you in my letter regarding Meaghan, you have all been so incredibly wonderful and we so appreciate everything that you did for our children. You have helped them to recognize the best parts of themselves and for that alone we are eternally grateful.
Sincerely,
Terry B.
