motor skills - through yoga asana (poses), children practice balance, build strength, increase flexibility, and learn spatial awareness through body movement.
social skills - in the group setting, children often partner up for poses, play games involving interacting with peers, and learn about teamwork.
breathing - each week the children learn about breath and how different breathing can either energize or relax the body.
creativity - some weeks the children have an opportunity to express themselves through an art activity that ties into the week's lesson.YOGA SCHEDULE
