IMG_5866 A playful spin on a traditional practice, kids yoga helps multiple areas of development.

motor skills - through yoga asana (poses), children practice balance, build strength, increase flexibility, and learn spatial awareness through body movement.

social skills - in the group setting, children often partner up for poses, play games involving interacting with peers, and learn about teamwork.

breathing - each week the children learn about breath and how different breathing can either energize or relax the body.

creativity - some weeks the children have an opportunity to express themselves through an art activity that ties into the week's lesson.

Wednesdays (Oct. 3, 10, 24 & Nov. 7, 14, 28)

4:15 - 5:10  Kids Yoga ages 4-9

5:15 - 6:15 Preteen Yoga ages 9-10+
