Fair Play

A Social Skills Group Focusing on Teamwork & Cooperation

Project CHILLD’s “Fair Play” social skills group focuses on teamwork and cooperation in the context of group games and teambuilding activities.   Our group uses social stories, peer modeling, and role playing activities to teach cooperative play skills.  Our goal is to help participants learn how to work together as a team and how to win and lose games while being a good friend.

This six-week group will include six to eight participants of mixed ages.  We want children of all age groups to learn to work and play together as a team.  Each session is 75 minutes.  Groups are facilitated by graduate and undergraduate students from area occupational therapy programs, with the supervision and guidance of Project CHILLD staff.
