Christine King, COTA/L, has been working with children and their families for the past 22 years in a variety of capacities. She provided O.T. services in a public school setting for 12 years before joining the team at Project CHILLD 5 years ago. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Christine had a successful career in human services. She worked with several community-based programs as a staff supervisor, advocate and counselor, providing crisis intervention services and running social skills groups. She also played a key role in the development and opening of an adolescent assessment center for Northeastern Family Institute, of which she became the Assistant Director. Christine has training and experience with The Alert Program and Brain Gym and Handwriting Without Tears. She is the co-creator of Project Cruise Control, an intensive group program based on "The Alert Program: How Does Your Engine Run?". In addition, she is a certified level II Reiki practitioner and has been a foster parent. Christine's passion is in the area of auditory training and reeducation.
She is a key member of the therapeutic listening staff at Project CHILLD and has been working intensively with sound training.  She has completed the professional DLS/ILS certification program and is trained to administer and interpret Tomtits designed Listening Test.  She has also completed TLP training.
