Kim Martell, MS OTR/L earned a BS in Neuroscience from Bates College in 2003. In 2006, Kim began graduate school at Tufts University, where she received a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy. During graduate school, Kim spent many hours at Project CHILLD working at the front desk and on the floor as a Clinical Assistant. Kim completed her first twelve-week-long Fieldwork placement working on an inpatient psychology unit, and she spent her second at a local sensory integration clinic working with children and families. Kim graduated from Tufts in December of 2008 and returned to Project CHILLD in February of 2009. As a member of the Project CHILLD team, Kim helped to design and lead the Sensational Summer Programs, which began in 2009. In December of 2010, Project CHILLD added Neurofeedback Therapy to the list of services the clinic provides. Kim’s background in neuroscience laid the groundwork for her training in neurofeedback. Kim is now the Neurofeedback Coordinator at Project CHILLD.
