Carina Sorenson, MS OTR/L,
earned a BA in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado in 2007. She received her Master's in Occupational Therapy in 2010 from James Madison University. Her primary focus of research was Sensory Integration. She completed her fieldwork internships in an inpatient orthopedic hospital, and a public school system in Boston. Carina has worked with children and adults with disabilities in a variety of settings including day support programs, job coaching, independent living transitions, and summer camps. She volunteered at Martha's Vineyard Cerebral Palsy Camp for the past seven summers. In 2006, she spent four months studying public health abroad in South Africa. Most recently, she enjoyed the winter season working with an adaptive ski program.
